Kristin Kreuk and Jay Ryan Face Off in Stills from “Beauty and the Beast” 2.03

After being separated for three months, Kristin Kreuk and Jay Ryan, as Catherine and Vincent, will finally be reunited in the season premiere of “Beauty and the Beast,” but everything won’t just return to normal as they’re both clearly harboring secrets in these stills from season 2, episode 3, titled “Liar, Liar.”

In these new images, thanks to BatB Fansite, Cat and Vincent appear to be trying to get back to where they left off, that is when they’re not lost in their own thoughts and lies. With Vincent still piecing together the past and distracted by his new mission, while Cat tries to uncover the reasons behind his change, it’ll be some time before they can fully trust each other again. To make matter worse, there’s also trouble brewing between Nina Lisandrello’s Tess and Sendhil Ramamurthy’s Gabe.

“Beauty and the Beast” returns this Monday, Oct. 7 at 9PM on The CW. The official press release and stills for the third episode are below.

“Liar, Liar” – (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, V) (HDTV)
CAT AND VINCENT STRUGGLE WITH TRUSTING EACH OTHER – Catherine (Kristin Kreuk) and Vincent (Jay Ryan) track a mysterious beast while keeping their individual agendas from one another in a clever game of cat-and-mouse. Meanwhile, Heather (Nicole Gale Anderson) has a bombshell revelation for Cat, and Tess (Nina Lisandrello) confronts Gabe (Sendhil Ramamurthy) about his real motives for helping Cat. Austin Basis also stars. Bradley Walsh directed the episode written by John A. Norris (#203).
