The holiday season is not just a time for family, friends and food, it also so happens to be when British fan-favorite series Doctor Who releases their new Christmas episode. This year’s special, titled ‘The Return of Doctor Mysterio,’ will follow the Twelfth Doctor (Peter Capaldi) as he teams up with superhero The Ghost (Justin Chatwin) and investigative journalist Lucy Fletcher (Charity Wakefield) to save New York City from brain-swapping aliens. Matt Lucas will also reprise his role as Nardole from the series’ previous episode, ‘The Husbands of River Song.’

‘The Return of Doctor Mysterio’ has the distinction of being the first new episode of Doctor Who in a year, after season 10 was postponed until 2017.
