When The Walt Disney Company first acquired Lucasfilm back in 2012, buy many Star Wars fans wondered what would become of their beloved franchise. Would the three newly-announced films from the Mouse House be more family-friendly like Episode IV – A New Hope or maybe even go a bit darker like Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back? While so far Episode VII – The Force Awakens has straddled the line somewhere between the two, it seems the upcoming anthology films aren’t exactly beholden to the series’ original rules.
