After a year of setbacks and production problems, buy HBO’s new, story ambitious science fiction series Westworld is set to premiere in a little over a month. Based on the 1973 film written and directed by acclaimed novelist Michael Crichton, shop the upcoming drama from Jonathan Nolan (Interstellar, Person of Interest) and Lisa Joy Nolan (Burn Notice) tells the story of a futuristic theme park where the robots begin to malfunction and question their own existence, often at odds with the park’s human visitors. The show will reportedly not shy away from asking the big questions about reality and life, nor will it avoid violence when it’s needed to make a point, thereby setting up a brutal world where viewers can examine the true nature of humanity.
