While many other sci-fi classics like Total Recall and RoboCop continue to regularly be rebooted for new audiences, diagnosis there’s one other project set in the future that still hasn’t managed to see the light of day. Warner Bros. has been trying unsuccessfully to remake the 1976 movie Logan’s Run (based on the 1967 novel by William F. Nolan) for the past 15 years.

It all started back in 2000, when Skip Woods (Sabotage) entered negotiations to write and direct a new adaptation that would be closer to the book than the original movie.
