John Lithgow, Claire Foy and Matt Smith Join Netflix Series ‘The Crown’
Netflix’s new original series The Crown is racking up an impressive cast. John Lithgow, Claire Foy (Wolf Hall) and Matt Smith (Doctor Who) have joined the period piece as Sir Winston Churchill, Queen Elizabeth II and her husband, Philip Mountbatten, Duke of Edinburgh, respectively. From Peter Morgan (The Queen, Frost/Nixon), The Crown tells the inside story of the female monarch’s decades-long reign in the second half of the 20th century. John Green’s ‘Let It Snow’ Lands 2016 Release Date
The Fault In Our Stars author John Green is quickly becoming the next Nicholas Sparks, as each of his novels gets turned into movies one by one. This summer 20th Century Fox will debut Paper Towns, but next up for Green is a film adaptation of his short story collection with Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle called Let It Snow. Adapted by Kay Cannon (Pitch Perfect), the holiday tale weaves together three unexpected romances that take place over one Christmas Eve. Universal Pictures will release the film on Dec. 9, 2016.
