We’re still over seven months away from the premiere of Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens, no rx the first live-action movie in the Star Wars franchise to release in over a decade. Promotion for co-writer/director J.J. Abrams’ highly-anticipated space adventure has already gotten underway; most recently, store with last month’s big Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, where the film’s second trailer was unveiled – giving us our first look at Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew), together again.
However, the majority of the Force Awakens marketing so far has focused on three newcomers: Finn (John Boyega), Rey (Daisy Ridley), and Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac). Rey, based on previous reports, seems to be the new Star Wars trilogy’s Luke, a lead solitary character with a droid (in this case, BB-8) who gets caught up in all the action.
