Fox’s supernatural drama Sleepy Hollow debuted last season to very high ratings and generally favorable reviews. Fans and critics alike praised the show’s compelling characters, diagnosis crazy mythology and big, rx fun, doctor adventurous storylines. Time Magazine even named Sleepy Hollow one of 2013′s 10 Best New Shows.

But season 2, which recently finished airing, was met with a lot of criticism. Viewers regularly complained that popular characters like Jenny and Irving were being relegated to the background, and the series’ new monster-of-the-week format failed to endear itself to most fans.
