Disney’s live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast may soon add a bonafide singer to the cast as Tony Award-winning actress Audra McDonald is in final talks to play Garderobe, the wardrobe. She’ll join a cast that includes Emma Watson (Belle), Dan Stevens (the Beast), Luke Evans (Gaston), and Josh Gad (Le Fou). Bill Condon is directing the film, which will begin production in May for a March 17, 2016 release. [THR]
As season five of The Walking Dead comes to an end, executive producer Robert Kirkman has announced that the spinoff series set to debut late this summer will be titled Fear the Walking Dead. Cliff Curtis, Kim Dickens, Frank Dillane and Alycia Debnam Carey star in the prequel, which takes place in Los Angeles at the start of the zombie outbreak. Yatta, Heroes fans! Masi Oka is set to reprise his role as space-time manipulator Hiro Nakamura in a guest-starring arc on the upcoming sequel series Heroes Reborn. Oka joins fellow original cast member Jack Coleman, who will lead the series as Noah Bennet (aka HRG), and new additions Zachary Levi, Robbie Kay and Ryan Guzman.
