Get ready for more The Walking Dead. AMC has given their upcoming spinoff series a two-season order, with the first season of six episodes to debut in late summer and the second season to air in 2016. Set in Los Angeles, the still untitled spinoff from Robert Kirkman and Dave Erickson (Sons of Anarchy) stars Cliff Curtis (Gang Related), Kim Dickens (Gone Girl), Frank Dillane (Harry Potter) and Alycia Debnam Carey (The 100). The best and the brightest people in the world can be found in Tomorrowland, and a new trailer for Brad Bird’s science fiction adventure film gives us our first look at this futuristic place. Casey (Britt Robertson) is just an ordinary girl who one day finds a mysterious, magical pin. Spartacus alum Lucy Lawless will return to Starz later this year for the premium cable network’s Evil Dead sequel series, Ash vs. Evil Dead. A follow-up to the classic films, Bruce Campbell is set to reprise his role as the immature stockboy and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who must face his demons. Lawless will play Ruby, a mysterious figure who is focused on tracing the source of the recent Evil outbreaks, only she believes Ash is the cause of it all. [THR]
The next few weeks are going to be tough for Barry Allen. The CW has released a new trailer for The Flash that teases three new villains. First up is the Weather Wizard (Liam McIntyre) on March 17th. Followed by the return of Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell), and Cold’s sister Lisa (Peyton List) on March 24th.
