Ugly Betty star America Ferrera is set to make her TV comeback opposite Ben Feldman (Mad Men) in NBC’s comedy Superstore. The pilot from Justin Spitzer (The Office) follows a group of employees working at a big-box store in middle America. Ferrera will play Cloud 9’s longtime floor supervisor Amy, who falls in love with newbie Jonah (Feldman). While she is initially put off by Jonah’s superior attitude and clowning around on the job, Amy eventually becomes infatuated with him when he gets her to find more joy at work. [TVLine]

Jessica Lange is out, and Matt Bomer and Cheyenne Jackson are in for FX’s American Horror Story: Hotel. It was confirmed on Sunday that after four seasons as leading lady, Lange will not be part of the fifth season of Ryan Murphy’s hit anthology series. Instead, Bomer and Jackson are joining Lady Gaga for the new season, which takes place at a haunted hotel. No other details have been released so far, but Bomer will play the male lead. [THR]
