When Game of Thrones returns next month, Arya will have a whole new look. After multiple seasons disguised as a peasant boy, the youngest Stark daughter can finally roam free in Braavos under a new identity. And she’ll get a swanky new wardrobe and a pretty new hairstyle to commemorate the occasion. Things are about to heat up for Dylan O’Brien in the first official images from the sequel to last year’s The Maze Runner, The Scorch Trials. Now that they’re out of the labyrinth, Thomas (O’Brien) and the other survivors will discover a dangerous new world outside the maze’s walls. A desert wasteland greets them out there in the Scorch, and infected humans known as Cranks could mean certain death. The sequel opens in theaters on Sep 18th. [EW]
From riches to rags, former Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford is leaving the Upper East Side for good to lead ABC’s new drama pilot Boom. Written by Josh Pate (Surface) and Rodes Fishburne, Boom follows a young couple, Billy (Crawford) and Kelly, to Bakken, North Dakota, where an oil discovery will change everyone’s lives for worse or better. Crawford joins previously cast Don Johnson (Miami Vice) and Scott Michael Foster (Chasing Life). [Deadline]
