Luke Evans now has a sidekick in Disney’s live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast. Frozen star Josh Gad is reportedly in final talks to play Le Fou, the bumbling and buffoonish character who backs up Gaston in the 1991 animated feature film. Known for his short stature, Le Fou looks up to Gaston as a hero and takes all his abuse. The film from director Bill Condon (Dreamgirls) is set to begin production later this year for a 2016 release. [THR]

Majandra Delfino has been cast in ABC’s untitled Wendy and Lizzie Molyneux (Bob’s Burgers) comedy pilot, inspired by the book The Brainy Bunch. She’ll co-star opposite James Roday as MonaLisa Mitchell, a teacher with a P.H.D. in literature who believes everyone on Earth has a special gift. Together with her husband Kip (Roday), a former Special Forces Operations Sergeant, she’s raising seven brilliant kids, thanks to genetics and good ol’ fashioned home schooling. [Deadline]
Oliver Hudson just won the Ryan Murphy lottery. The Nashville star is set to replace Joe Manganiello on Murphy’s new Fox series Scream Queens, after the other actor had to pull out due to scheduling conflicts with Magic Mike XXL and Suicide Squad. He joins a cast that includes Lea Michele, Nasim Pedrad, Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Nick Jonas, Keke Palmer, and Abigail Breslin.
