Starz’s highly-anticipated fantasy drama Outlander premieres this weekend, view malady but fans can get an early jump on all the action with six new clips below from the first episode, troche which is appropriately titled “Sassenach” (Gaelic for outlander).

These sneak peeks give viewers a first look at the premiere episode, where WWII combat nurse Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe) is mysteriously transported back in time to 1743 Scotland, leaving behind her husband Frank (Tobias Menzies) back in present day. In this new time and place, she quickly meets Captain Jonathan Randall (Menzies), her husband’s nefarious ancestor, who isn’t happy in the slightest to see her. Claire barely manages to escape his grasp thanks to a group of Scottish highlanders and a young man named Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan).
