‘Star Wars: Episode 7’ Adds Two New Cast Members
Two more actors have landed roles in Star Wars: Episode VII, just as its announced the film will go on a two-week break in August. Newcomers Crystal Clarke and Pip Andersen beat out 67,000 other hopefuls in open casting calls to get the coveted spots. Clarke will play a “street smart, independent, athletic, natural beauty,” and Andersen’s character has “grown up without a father’s influence. Without the model of being a man, he doesn’t have the strongest sense of himself.” Nothing else is known about their characters, but Andersen’s skills in parkour, which he showed off in a recent Spider-Man ad for Sony, should prove rather useful. For now, the film is still scheduled to release Dec. 18th, 2015, despite a delay in production next month to allow Harrison Ford time to recover from a leg injury. [StarWars]
