‘Once Upon a Time’ Casts Elsa from ‘Frozen’

Arendelle’s Snow Queen has been found. Once Upon a Time has tapped Australian actress Georgina Haig, who played Peter and Olivia’s daughter Etta on Fringe, for the role of Queen Elsa from Disney’s animated hit Frozen. The news comes days after Elizabeth Lail and Scott Michael Foster were cast as Anna, Elsa’s younger sister, and Kristoff, Anna’s love. Season four of ABC’s fairy tale drama is set to follow the events of the film with Elsa still learning to control her powers. [THR]

Meet the new Count Vertigo. Prison Break‘s Peter Stormare is set to guest star on the season 3 premiere of Arrow in the role of Werner Zytle, better known as the DC Comics’ New 52s version of Vertigo. Taking over from the last Vertigo drug dealer, played by Seth Gabel, who was defeated last season, he’ll establish himself as The Count’s successor in Starling City. CBS Orders James Patterson Thriller ‘Zoo’ to Series

CBS is moving full speed ahead with another summer series. The network has given a 13-episode order to Zoo, a drama based on the bestselling novel by James Patterson, scheduled to air in summer 2015. Alias writers and frequent collaborators Jeff Pinkner, who also worked on Fringe, Josh Appelbaum, Andre Nemec and Scott Rosenberg wrote the script about a wave of violent animal attacks against humans that appear to be more coordinated and planned than first thought. The global thriller joins Under the Dome and Extant already on the summer lineup. [THR]
