With just two months to go until the premiere of Ron Moore’s new series, story Outlander, store promotion is ramping up in a new video that takes viewers behind the scenes with the cast and crew, and featuring stars Caitriona Balfe, Sam Heughan, Tobias Menzies, Lotte Verbeek and more.

Based on the bestselling book series by Diana Gabaldon, Outlander follows 20th century nurse Claire Randall (Balfe) as she steps up to some ancient stones and is transported back in time to 18th century Scotland. The series itself is shot where the novels themselves are set, in beautiful Scotland. Undeniably, Starz has imbued the production with a sense of realism by focusing on every tiny detail from the setting, locations and wardrobe to the props. And if you’ve been following the series’ social network accounts, like their Instagram, then you’ll have seen many different pictures that can attest to this fact.
