Last week’s episode of The CW’s new hit series The 100 ended on a rather scary note with our first look at those who apparently survived the nuclear war on Earth, health the Grounders, advice and their untimely capture of Bellamy’s sister, Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos).

But “Twilight’s Last Gleaming” was a very important episode for other reasons, too. Raven (Lindsay Morgan) finally made it to Earth, and together with the 100, she was able to send a signal to the Ark above that there were still survivors on the ground. Unfortunately, their plan turned out to be a little too late because in probably one of the saddest scenes on TV so far this year, 300 people on the Ark had already sacrificed themselves so the rest could live.
