Gossip Girl (s3ep14): The Lady Vanished – ***
SPOILERS BELOW 

Previously: Dan tells Vanessa he loves her. Serena discovers her dad’s note that her mom hid from her. Rufus learns Lily kissed her ex and he runs to that other chick. Damien and Jenny and their drugscapades. Chuck thinks his mom is alive. Serena and Nate and their new relationship.

[+] Once again Damien is using Jenny to help deliver drugs for money. He asks to hide them in her room. Stupid. Damien has plans with ‘just a friend’. Ha, poor Jenny.

[+] With Nate, Serena comes out with no pants and knee high socks. Ew. Nate is cooking breakfast. And they mack again. With food. Kinda hot. Kinda gross. Meanwhile, Blair is…making lots of noises in the other room. Chuck calls Nate for his briefcase, which is in the room with Blair.

[+] Turns out Blair is faking it. Serena and her have a talk, Blair and Chuck aren’t doing so well. Dan goes to see Vanessa wanting normal time, she’s already got a date. He tries to say he does, too. Outside Dan tries to find anyone named Melissa. Ha!

[+] Blair checks out Chuck’s phone courtesy of horrible liar Nate. Jenny and Damien are found out by Lily, who thinks something physical is going on. If only. Blair is still checking out Chuck’s phone and he walks in telling them the voicemail is from his mother. He doesn’t want anything to do with her. Blair respects his wishes.

[+] Lily sets up a Jenny intervention and calls Rufus. At the party, Vanessa and Dan are awkward with each other and their significant others. Rufus accuses Lily of not watching over Jenny well enough. He orders her to move back with him. More awkwardness from Dan and Vanessa, which somehow leads to macking.

[+] Ugh. Serena and Nate are sneaky. The four of them go to dinner and turns out they invited his mother. Dan and Serena’s dates are smarter than them and call them out on their lies. Chuck pays off his mother to leave and never come back. She asks if that’s what he wants, takes the money, and leaves.

[+] Phew. Jenny argues with Damien over their ‘relationship’ and shows him by outing her drugs to Rufus. Jenny scoffs at Rufus’ concerns. I guess she thinks it makes her look grown up. Damien stands up for her in his first sign of caring, and tells them they’re his father’s.

[+] Serena can’t leave well enough alone, and goes to see Chuck’s mother again. She wants to know the story to better understand her father. She had Chuck young, she didn’t want to marry him and wanted to leave, and told Bart to tell him she had died.

[+] Dan and Vanessa make up. Boring. Rufus and Jenny move out of Lily’s. Chuck and Blair reconcile and his mother comes by. Jenny runs away…again. Serena finally admits to Nate about her father. Chuck lets his mother in. Dan and Vanessa sleep together again, minus Olivia. Ew.

[+] Jenny catches up with Damien, having stolen stole Lily’s pills and wants to sell them at the party. He suggests they not go to the party. And first kiss. Ew. Lily finds out about Rufus’ tryst. Serena calls her dad again and let’s him know she doesn’t care anymore.
