When a year ends sometimes it’s hard to remember where it began. Sometimes the time goes by slowly, viagra sale and other times it goes by fast. And in the years to come, what is ed you’ll struggle to remember what you did that year and the things that defined you. It’d be nice to remember what you invested your time in, recipe what made an impression, and what represented you as a whole for that year. That’s why I bring my:
Tops of 2008
Favorite TV Shows
1. Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
Despite this show not getting high enough ratings. I still think it’s one of the best sci-fi shows on tv right now. And I’m saddened that it’s moving to Fridays, even though it’ll be paired with Joss Whedon’s Dollhouse. Plus, Summer Glau is <3. And the developing ‘relationship’ between John/Cameron is just 0_o worthy.
2. Kyle XY
Even though show is not as dark or mature as other scifi shows, I mean it’s on ABCFamily, it is still the awesomesauce. Everyone who watches it ends up loving it. I’m interested where it goes from here in the new season.
3. Gossip Girl
I know, soap opera and teenage hodge-podge. But there’s just something about it that captures you. The characters, relationships, the writing/dialogue/snarkiness, the cutting edge *gasp* naughtiness.
4. Battlestar Galactica
What is there to say about BSG? The mysteries begin to be unraveled, the characters coming into their own, and the last season is upon us.
5. The Secret Life of the American Teenager
What can I say about this one, too? Guilty pleasure of 2008. lol. Not just for me either. I’ve had friends who don’t watch much tv being unknowingly pulled in.
Favorite Ships
1. Edward/Bella from Twilight
This is definately my couple of the year. From the books, to the fanfic, to the fanmixes, to the movie. They also usurped my previous OTP and have
2. John/Cameron from Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
Does anyone really know the nature of their relationship? Past, present, or future? Friends or lovers? Either way. Intriguing.
3. Chuck/Blair from Gossip Girl
From the height of their relationship last season to the witty banter and downfalls of this season. Chuck and Blair are always entertaining. And at the same time dramatic. At the same time heartbreaking.
Favorite Movies
1. Twilight
I waited most of the year for this movie and I wasn’t disappointed. There are some things I would have done differently, but I really enjoyed numerous aspects from music, cinematography, directing, etc. That’s what makes a movie effective to me, when all the pieces come together.
2. Alvin and the Chipmunks
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched this movie… I didn’t know I was going to enjoy this movie as much as I did. Those chipmunks are so cute. I’m excited for the sequel.
3. Enchanted
I only saw this movie the one time, but I really enjoyed it. It made a good impression. So cute and enjoyable.
4. Dr. Horrible
It’s Joss Whedon. And we haven’t had Joss Whedon material in a while. Complete with the Joss humor, directing, etc. I’m there. :D
Favorite Albums
1. Stars – In Our Bedroom After the War
2. Paramore – Riot!
3. Red – End of Silence
4. Twilight Soundtrack
5. Twilight Score Soundtrack
6. Vanessa Carlton – Heroes and Thieves
Favorite Songs
1. Stars – The Night Starts Here
2. Lamb – Gabriel
3. Robert Pattinson – Let Me Sign
4. Paramore – Decode
5. The Motorhomes – Into the Night
6. Red – Breathe Into Me
